June 20, 2007 I finally have been able to get around to some updates. We Attended the River City trial back in March. Myself and my daughter Kasey drove down together and it made a great mother/daughter trip. Kasey was second in the child handling class both days and had great fun with Heathers wonderful daughters! I was very proud of My Dig It Ruckus as he was 3nd in his class on Sat. And 2nd on Sun. Dig It Roxy took 3rd in her class on Sat. And 1st in her class on Sun. She showed her little butt off! I got to pick up my beautiful Rush girl. And was so happy to have her home. On May 1st Sassy whelped 2 girls and 2 boys. All are healthy and doing well. On May 2nd, Rush whelped 3 girls and 2 boys. All are healthy and doing well. Myself and Linda Quinn headed to the Summer Celebration trial on June 16th, where my Little Eden Swish was Best Open Bitch and went on to be Best Open Terrier. I was absolutely thrilled. And then when she went on the be Best Bitch and Produce and then Best Family over all, well, what can I say.. She had by her side her daughters, Little Eden Sassafras and Dig It Roxy. Between the three of them, they are a stunning group of terriers. Thank you to Michelle Ward and Little Eden Working Terriers again for such beautiful foundation bitch's for my program. Also, Dig It Roxy was 2nd in her puppy class and went on to be reserve best bitch pup. As well Little Eden Sassafras, with 7 week old pups on the ground, was first in her over R/B bitch class and went on to be Reserve Best Open Bitch. But her momma Swish better watch out, Sassy will be back in full form soon! I was also lucky enough to get to go out hunting Sunday morning after the trial with Joe and Linda. I took Sassy out and she really shows great promise in the field with unbelievable recall and field manners. I let Roxy down for a while and that little terrier, who had never been out either or ever seen a hill, darted right off rolled down the ditch embankment and right into the creek below, by the time she stood up, looked up the hill at me, like "what in the world just happened" I was laughing so hard I nearly wet my pants. She spent much of the rest of her time out, running down the hill into the water! She loved it. She is the cutest terrier I have ever seen. She is only 10 months old, so I have high hopes for her hunting abilities also, she is always up, tons of drive, and no chest. She will fit into some tiny holes. We have some hunt dates planned for this summer so I will try to keep updates coming.
July 19, 2007 I have had a very exciting month. I went to New York, and had the opportunity to go out hunting with Michelle, and Rush earned her first NHC to groundhog. She worked hard, locating 2 hogs underground. She showed true determination and grit, keeping her quarry at bay, and never giving up! Thank you again to the Ward family for making me feel so welcome, it was a true vacation! Steve and I have been out many an evening, working the dogs, and they are all showing great promise. We have many hunt dates planned this summer, and are really looking forward to getting the dogs out with all of the wonderful friends we have made. We will keep you updated.

August 21, 2007 I am happy to announce that Rush has received her second NHC, this time to raccoon, under Working Judge Tyler Brown. Linda and I headed to Ohio Thursday, and hunted with Tyler on Friday, where we had a great day out in the field. We then headed to the Sunnyhill Trial in New York. We had a great time, where we are thrilled to tell you that Ruckus took a respectable 3rd in the largest adult male class of the day, the Bred By class, Rush took a very respectable 2nd in her first working class, and our Sassafras went Best Open Bitch and Best Open Terrier under Judge John Broadhurst. I was absolutely thrilled, and had a great time with new and old friends at this trial. What a great adventure! We look forward to our next hunting trip, and will keep you posted.
November 1, 2007 We have had so much happen with the terriers since our last update! We went to the Dogwood Endless Summer Bash where Rush was Best Working Bitch and Reserve Working Terrier both days! Sassy was Reserve Open Bitch and Reserve Open Terrier on Sunday. And Dorthy was Best 4-6 month Bitch pup and Best 4-6 month puppy over all both days! We are so proud of our terriers. Mandy and I had a lot of fun, as this was her last big trip to shows until after the baby comes. We are very excited about this baby, and cannot wait to see "him". Yes, it will be a boy! Ruckus has returned to Arizona, in time to avoid the cold weather here in Indiana. We already miss him. Thanks again to Leona for letting him come for a visit. Steve and I flew to the National trial in Maryland this year. We had a great time! It is always great seeing everyone. Rush took a very respectable 2nd in her very tough Working Bitch Class. We have several hunt dates set up this winter and will keep everyone posted on how the terriers are doing. Congratulations to all of the winner's at the National trial.
